Chiefs Tour 2011
Every year the Chiefs hold a tour for the diaspora to attend an area in Scotland which has significant interest to the Clan.
The details for the 2011 tour are below, details of the 2012 tour will be uploaded as soon as they are available.
The Chiefs Tour 2011
June 13 Edinburgh, meet for dinner
June 14 Off to the ferry in Kintyre to Islay. We stay at the Machrie Hotel.
June 15 Visit Finlaggan, Kildalton Cross, Port Charlotte for local museum, shopping and more.
June 16 Travel day, Islay ferry to Oban. Oban ferry to Craignure on Mull
Stay at the Isles of Mull hotel.
June 17 Staffa boat trip
June 18 Iona. We plan on having a ceremony at the Abbey. Also take the time to see the Abbey thoroughly, as well as see the village.
June 19 Tobermory, Duart Castle, Torosay Castle and gardens, Aros Castle ruins
June 20 Ferry to mainland, back to Edinburgh for dinner.Check out in the morning
